ISLAND PADDLE BOARD is located conveniently on Balboa Island surrounded by the calm water of Newport Harbor & easy beach access.

Rentals are available everyday starting at 10am!

Please have boards back no later than 6 PM.

Walk ins are welcome, and making a reservation is recommended.  Reservations can be made by calling us at the shop (949)-673-4280, or send us an email.  

All rentals come with 11’6 or 10’6 paddle board, paddle, flotation device & wheeled racks to make transportation easy!

Hourly Rentals:         1 Hour: $25                                  2 Hours: $37.50                               3 Hours: $50 Best Deal!    

Daily/Weekly Rentals:     1 Day(24 hours): $85                     3 Days: $150                       1 Week: $300

To guarantee rental availability, a deposit is required.

We now have children’s boards!! These boards are made of soft foam, are very light, & easy to maneuver. We suggest a max weight of 120lbs. Ask for additional children size life vests at no charge!

Renting a house on Balboa Island this summer? Make sure to schedule your rental by June 15th & receive special price breaks on “weekly rentals”.   We offer complimentary delivery to your vacation rental & will pick up the boards upon your departure!  *Don’t forget we rent kayaks too.  Click here for details.

A minimum of one hour is required to check out any of our boards. All reservation fees are non-refundable but transferable.  This means we can re-schedule your reservation at no additional cost. All customers under the age of eighteen must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian or other adult.

Come demo boards from SURF TECH & fall in love with Stand Up Paddling! As a licensed SURF TECH retailer, we will apply the cost of your rental or lesson towards purchase of a new board!*
